I can tell difference. So can wife. Curry sauce on fish and chips from a chippie is a crime against the taste buds.

Skin on or off debate - it needs to be scaled if you intend eating the skin: if the chippy buys fillets that haven't been scaled it's nigh on impossible to do without making a fish mush.
