    Think I’m more level headed

always liked my visits to Ashton gate.
Proper club and proper decent supporters.

No ill feelings here. Red card changed the game, we did well to hold out for 55 mins before you scored. Both goals are worldies

if we don’t go up I hope you guys do.

    Thanks Bucky.
As I said over on your board; the sending off changed the game. I can see over there that many of your fans believe Wells cheated and the ref allowed himself into being bullied by our players putting pressure on him.
    The facts were;
    Wells was ‘clipped’
He stumbled a couple of steps before falling
    He was through on goal.
Our players DID surround the ref, but as I saw it he’d already reached for the red card straight away. Our players were talking to him after the decision had been made.
Our players celebrated the sending off.

The areas for debate seem to be around whether Wells’ stumbling before finally going down constitutes cheating/diving. I assume that if Le Bris believes it does then you will appeal. Also, our players celebrating the decision seems to have hit a nerve.

Obviously I’m pleased with the 3 points - Boro and Cov both winning kept the pressure on and we’re still not guaranteed a playoff place. However, I’m not confident we would have won if it hadn’t been for the Red card. We’ll never know - but we may have a chance to find out if we meet again in the playoffs.

I think Sunderland are unfortunate with that sending off. The player would have been sent of for denying a obvious goal scoring opportunity. I think Wells if he stayed on his feet, still had a bit of work to do, it was not obvious!

    Swings and roundabouts

Another day just a yellow and two evenly matched sides.

Hi Sunderland fan here but I wanted to share you my vlog from yesterday. Non biased opinions, ALL the goals and genuinely thought your fans were fantastic!

Can see why you’re in the position you are. We looked terrible and well deserved win ⚪️

PUSHED !! Wells is well known for missing out on penalties because he doesnt do like a lot of wimpish players do nowadays and fall over .. he endeavoured to keep his footing but was obviously "pushed/ &? CLIPPED? " so couldnt........... watched it quite a few times as it all happened at speed ...
Result would have been different as at the point which he got his marching orders followed reality ..... had he stayed on then there would have been a different sequence of eventsfor the next 83 minutes .. we could have scored 3 or they could or been a 0-0 draw what happened is how that game panned out 2 -1 we won

Sunderland lose again, 4 on the bounce now. Could playing l them in the semi-final be what us, Cov, Boro or Millwall prefer.

Playoffs are a different matter, they’ve nothing really to play for now, and haven’t really for a while, they are guaranteed playoffs and no chance of automatic. it’s who deals with the pressure on the day, our away form bothers me if I’m honest. We should reach the playoffs but don’t see us getting any further.
