Surprised by all the negative comments. Think we’ve been playing quite well. Compared to Portsmouth and Luton games which were similar challenges on paper… this lot drew with Burnley and beat the blunts, but haven’t laid a glove on us… well not yet
Solid half… not sure what’s going on with Gnonto… seems to have tripped over the ball and got it stuck under his feet every time it comes to him. Normally has a good first touch. Other than that we’ve got into good attacking positions without turning them into clear cut chances, but looked pretty comfortable
They've worked hard that half. James could rip.them apart when he comes on. Gnonto and Firpo been off the pace and Piroe has been in and out. When he's involved I think his touch has been excellent. Soloman has springs on his boots.
Not a bad performance. They're very physical and obviously up for it when the best team in the division comes to play them. But we've been pretty calm and measured. Just need that second goal. And if Oxford come out and try to find an equalizer in the second half, I think we should be able to pick them off and get another goal or two which will take the pressure off.
