He's been poor these last few games but I'd love us to try an play the ball to him in the final third and see what happens

Wonder if we'd managed to sign Kieffer Moor, he'd not be scoring goals for us?

Monday throws up a lot of interesting fixtures. I can understand the angst among people as the result is still raw.
Every team will have a damn good idea of their future after Mondays games. We are not down yet and not even on the bottom 3.

    Exactly
We are not even in the bottom 3
We are not even the team directly above the bottom 3

    Its very over dramatic

I still think we’ll stay up because we’re strong defensively and of the three games left we can knick a 1-0, which is all I think we’ll need.

Of our 4 attacking players, 3 of them were absolutely useless. Left wing is obviously an issue which is why we signed Barry but we have to try someone instead of Lincoln, the guy can’t run and neither can Pedro which is half the reason Gelhardt is left to do it all.

Id definitely start Kamara on Monday and play Gelhardt inside. If Amrabat can’t last 90 then fair enough but bring him on earlier. He’s always a threat, plenty of effort and just looks like he’s really annoying to play against.

There was some doyle at the end of the match today, right at the front of the away end screaming abuse at the City players as they came over. They quickly ****ed off as a result. That mouthy **** can **** off and never return, thank you.

Said earlier TG. Set up to take the lead and then, if absolutely necessary park the bus. Not wait until we concede and the try to react.

If we at all increase our lead to the bottom 3 on Monday I’ll be very confident of staying up

The way the table is , it’s quite possible we could drop in the bottom 3 after losing to Portsmouth on final day , bit late to worry about it then . Be good if the players put some thought into possibility before then

I would strongly consider playing a 3-4-3 if I was Selles. It’s obvious that Macca was being targeted today from the start and they aren’t the first team to recognise that he isn’t a natural full back.

    ———————Pandur —————-

    ——-Egan——Hughes—- Jones——-

    Coyle——-Puerta——-Alzate———-Drameh

    ————Gelhardt——Pedro——Kamara

If we want to be doing serious counter attacking football, that’s what we need. Hell, if Sinik is fit, put him on the bench. He was a footballer once, if he can give us 90 minutes over three games and keeps us up, he’s worth every penny we chucked at him. Well, not really, but you know.

Might also be worth having Coyle swap to the left as I seem to remember Drameh was struggling after playing there for a while (though that might have been under Walter).

I just cant have Geldhart on the right ST. He's half the player he is positioned there, left wing if we have to. Do we need 3 CB's? against Derby who will lump it it and long throws yes maybe, but do Preston go direct?

I feel 343 is too risky but would maybe go 352 or just 442.
It's probably too late to start messing about though so maybe stay the same but have alzate and puerta with kamara gelhardt and joseph/amrabat then I guess Pedro up top.
