Well this is a huge week for Bristol City two quick games that could determine if we get that playoff spot-Sunderland are guaranteed theirs irrespective of them losing.

Ashton Gate sold out once again as i do believe the remaining home fixture is against Preston.
Bristol City go into the game unbeaten in eleven games. Sunderland however have won five off their last ten games.

Make no mistake this is a defining game in our quest for a spot in the playoffs.
Can City do it -yes they can.

I reckon 2-1 Bristol City and a further 3 points on the board.

A draw would not be a disaster but three points would be a huge push in grabbing a spot.

Mannings pre Sunderland press conference, he said unlikely Sykes will be back this season, though Max should be ok.

We can manage without Sykes, if Max is out we’re screwed

Absolutely agree on this however Sykes has been playing very well and always has a goal in him.

Twine is back on the bench, which is good news, shame about Sykes though, imo his form has been a major reason for our recent resurgence. He’ll be a big miss in the playoffs should we get there.

Did anyone else think a fit Max would have got to that back pass from McCrory ?

    That’s never a red card

Very harsh decision, wouldn’t be happy if we got a red card for that.

Think we need a proper wide player on.

Just shows the difference when you’re clinical up top. We have had all the play, but nothing really created. Too many poor balls around the box, that’s what led to the goal

    Oh dear
How did their player run from his own half and score with all the city players around him !

I hope the red card doesn’t stitch us up

Not convinced Earthy was offside for the disallowed goal

He didn’t want to risk a foul I guess being last man. He knew the ref would red card him. Where were the rest of the team?

Let’s risk it second half, get Armstrong wide right, Memheti wide left, and Twine in behind. They are there for the taking, we just need more up top
