The U's find themselves in a precarious position, hovering just six points above the relegation zone. Despite their struggles, Gary Rowett's Oxford side has shown glimpses of potential with recent home wins against Watford and Sheffield United, though a heavy defeat to QPR earlier this month highlights their inconsistency. Leeds, on the other hand, appear to have recovered from their wobble. Buoyed by victories over Preston and Middlesbrough, they sit atop the Championship table with 88 points, level with Burnley but ahead on goal difference, and a comfortable five points clear of Sheffield United in third. The Whites will be eager to maintain their momentum as they push for automatic promotion. The last encounter between these two teams resulted in a dominant 4-0 victory for Leeds at Elland Road in December. James, Bogle, Solomon, and Aaronson all found the net in a commanding performance. However, Leeds will face some challenges as they head into the Easter weekend. During Wednesday’s pre-match press conference, manager Daniel Farke confirmed that midfielder Joe Rothwell would miss both Easter fixtures. Furthermore, Dan James is a doubt for the Oxford game. Pascal Struijk is also ruled out for the remainder of the season with a broken foot, meaning Ampadu will likely continue in defense. Oxford United also have their own injury concerns. Last week’s goalscorer, Long, has called on his teammates to step up following the news that centre-back Ciaron Brown is sidelined for the rest of the season with a knee injury. To compound matters, Elliott Moore (hamstring) and Max Woltman (leg) are also currently unavailable due to injury.
I’m not looking forward to it, not because I think we’ll lose, just the expectation and twists and turns so far this season. I’ll be mighty relieved if we get the win
Well with 4 games to go, ChatGPT has got 6 correct scores all season, plus 19 correct results. Gemini AI has 3 correct scores plus 22 correct results, whilst I have 5 correct scores, plus 14 correct results. So onto the Oxford game Aski Oxford 1- 1 Leeds United ChatGPT Oxford 0 - 2 Leeds United Gemini/Ninja AI Oxford 1 - 2 Leeds United
I’ll go for a 1-2 away win. Feel a little relieved that with Darlow in goal, to face the inevitable aerial bombardment, we’re giving ourselves the best chance of a positive result. Just feel that with opening up that 5 point cushion the players will be a little more relaxed in this one. Whatever happens in the earlier games, worst case, we’ll still be 2nd with 3 games to go. Wouldn’t be suicidal if we got a draw in what I think could be a difficult encounter, but let’s show what we’re about. MOT
It would be nice if we just score 3 first half goals and win comfortably without any issues. It would also help if Watford turn up and Cardiff showed a bit of fight.
Watford are very hit and miss. When they are on it, they are very good. Hopefully they've got the bit between their teeth today and they don't switch off.
Amazing save by Trafford tipping the ball onto the woodwork then up the other end and grab the equaliser, seriously, we’d have set records if we’d had him in our goal
Damage limitation for Watford 1-2 and a second yellow they’re down to 10 men. Repeating myself again but the difference was the keeper save it should really have been 2-0
