According to the Local rag(Evening post) its an option Brenden is considering, with Luke moore also tipped to feature from the start.Personally its a change id like to see, Lita up front,Routeledge wide and Moore behind the front player.

I think the performances of the above players against Blackburn makes it quite hard to drop them, Dyer for me has looked off the boil since the Liverpool rumours surfaced, he seems to have lost focus,a spell on the bench will do him good and he is a great player to bring on for the final 20mins,maybe for sinclair.

Whats the thoughts of my fellow jacks? should we revert to type with DG,dyer and maybe Kemy or do you think we go for pace and reward performances?

Routeledge has had more directness and input in his favoured position,so for me has to start wide.

Routledge deserves a run in the team out wide, mainly because of his quality of ball in to the box compared to Scotty and Dyer. However, I'd be very surprised if Luke Moore starts in the hole behind the striker with routledge out wide. I think it will be either Kemy to maintain the status quo, or routledge will play in the hole. I've got a feeling Brendan will go with routledge playing off the striker, because it is a shape that Martin Jol won't be expecting.

When Joey is back, I can see routledge getting a run ahead of Dyer for a few games on the wing.

Maybe Brenden will want to keep it tight in the middle and therefore play kemy, but i have a feeling rodgers may try moore behind the striker, it will though leave us a little bit light defensivly though moore IMO is better at holding the ball up than DG .

I think Luke Moore is one of those players who can look class on his day, but more often than not gives the impression he is not trying that hard. Maybe he would suit that role behind the striker, because he seems to like coming deep and taking cute touches and flicks. He probably hasn't got enough aggression in his game to play the lone striker role that effectively, so maybe it is something Brendan's thinking about. And like you said, you could argue that he holds the ball up better than DG. Maybe not in physical contact, but he certainly looks to have a more stylish first touch, so maybe he would be more suited to playing in the hole.
However, even though I don't rate him, I would be gutted for Dobbie if Moore played that role ahead of him considering he hasn't played there for us before. Gonna be a tough choice for Brendan this week!

This is one position that we are strong in, I wish Brendon had this sort of descision to make in every position, every week. I remember Judas, sorry, Martinez, said that one of the most important things in a successfull team was to have equally good players battling for every position (or words to that effect). Dyer and Routledge are perfect for our club, and Brendon should play them off against each other to get them competitive and working thier guts out for that position. <ok>

Gower & Routledge in for Sinclair & Dyer to give them a rest & to know they can be replaced so they may be sharper next time in . Britton & Agustien in the middle with Graham up front with Lita in behind

i have always said that if the goals dry up then we should change the players and formation. i still say sinclair would score goals playing a more central roll....

Musty, Dobbie will need several starts before he hits some form - just like any other player. Very few hit the ground running after being out for a while and it is particularly difficult at this level. The question is, can we afford him the time? Personally, I think that he could come good and add some desperately needed firepower. But will he get enough games?

Dobbie seems to get disheartened & rustier than most when not playing , could be his downfall this season
