Why the **** did Johnson get yellow carded for that?!!! He did nothing wrong. It was a small trip. Such bullshit
He didn't get it, though. Madison got to the ball. His actions were dangerous. Not very much different from a certain West German GK in the WC a few decades ago...
He got the ball after Maddison had headed it and he had no chance of avoiding the collision. So it was reckless and a foul. So a penalty and a yellow. Personally I thought it was worthy of a Red because he used excessive force.
Iim not sure but I think he may have just been holding the ball while the commotion was still going on. I think he knew Solanke was taking it.
I hope so, but he needs to take himself out of the equation, for me. He already had one controversial choice with Johnson, though the Welshman handled it well. We need to know who's taking penalties and everyone else needs to get out of the way. Only in Europe though, obviously. Not an issue in the Prem.
An interesting half that. Seem quite solid and composed at times, although a fair number of brain farts still around. Big loss for Frankfurt with Gotze going off but it will be an interesting 2nd 45 as they can't be that bad again...
I think both Spurs and Utd would rather play each other in the final than a foreign team. Spurs need to worry about this second half first though. Only a slim lead.
Johnson should be subbed for Sarr and push Kulu out on the right. He's on a yellow and will be targeted.
