I don’t get the all I want is promotion take. I’m sorry but we’re the best team in the league and I want to win the league finishing top. Not many chances of winning trophies and this is a prime opportunity. I get finishing in the top 2 is priority but I want us to win the league.
Who have you voted for in the player of the season awards? I’ve got Dan James as player, Pascal for goal & Gnoto as young player.
We have been linked with the Burnley keeper and one of their CBs if we go up and they fail. I do feel they have some decent defenders that we could look at if that was the scenario Nobody in the Sheffield team jumps out and whilst we shouldn’t be trying to sweep up the Championships finest we could do worse than a Burnley CB or Keeper IF we go up, we need to beat the other two who come up with us and do better than one other PL team, for that reason it might be best if Sheffield was promoted over Burnley
Completely agree with this. Sheffield & Bristol probs the best 2 to go up alongside us if we do go up.
That Hamar lad is shortlisted in five players for player of the season. Also we seemed to have fancied him before. No idea if he's pl standard any more than any of ours
Not looked any good to me when I’ve seen him. Looks a bit lazy but meant to be class. We do need a 10 but reckon we should be aiming higher but he should be on the list if we can’t get our first choices. We don’t want to be doing the same shopping that Ipswich did as look what’s happened to them, with a good manager as well.
I've never been impressed with him when I have seen him play for Sheffield. I just did a news search on him to see if he was linked with anyone and this was the first news story: Why Gustavo Hamer should be dropped The Sheffield United boss must brutally drop the attacking midfielder from the team after a disappointing performance from him against Alex Neil's side on Tuesday night. The former Coventry City dynamo did not offer enough quality with his use of the ball on the left flank, letting his team down too often with a poor pass or delivery into the box. He ended the match, having played the full 90 minutes, with zero shots on target, zero out of two dribbles completed, and zero 'big chances' created for the Blades.
Im not saying i dont want to win the league but i wont lose any sleep in not doing so. im not supporting rhe blunts at all Monday. Objective is promotion if that means supporting someone else to make our life easier and losing top spot in the process id take it everytime. If we are good enough we will win the league but id be happy as winning the league going into the last game knowing we are up even if its 2nd.
I'll see what happens tomorrow first before deciding who I'll be supporting Monday. Draw might be the favourite.
Watching Frankfurt v Spurs, think we have dodged a bullet with Kristenson, he’s playing for the kraits now but not far away from operating on Blackpool sands, what a fkg donkey. Koch looks tidy tho, does the simple things, plays where he’s facing etc
