Midfield 3 of Jones, Samed and LeFee on Monday then?

I'm trying not to be bothered about losing/drawing games as this is effectively a mini pre-season, but it's hard to watch your team lose. I hate it

    Harsh on Mowbray I think.

He got West Brom promoted from this league, having completely dismantled Robsons high earning squad and created a new vibrant team that won the title and made the FA cup semi in the same season. I tend to think Mowbrays record in management is a lot better than a lot of our fans give him credit for. I think he suffered terrible luck in the play off semi with injuries in that second leg.

All that said, Regis seems a good fit right now. If he has all of his main men fit for the play offs he will at least have no excuses.

Yeh it's not like he can lose form as he's out of form which along with Jobe being out has coincided with our worst performances

I think once again we'll see the squad rotated and an emphasis on defending. Not a bad thing letting Bristol throw everything they have at us and show their hand ahead of a potential play off semi

I agree mate, it’ll be an intriguing game.

One thing that keeps popping into my head is Enzo.

Is he better than Watson on the left?

Are Jobe, Neil and Rigg effective together?

Who’s better than Roberts on that side and tracking back?

All of which adds up to this …

… as much as we want to see Enzo central would it be more prudent to have him on the left if he’s happy to play there <whistle>

    Hard disagree
He was 2 games away from doing just that. Add Stewart, Ballard and Batth to the team that played Luton and we get to the final

I’d like to see how he can influence games from central positions

    Three good defenders there …

… would’ve made the difference for sure.

Luton got lucky and they know it.

    Me too, for sure.

It just struck me that Neil and Watson appeared to be wearing camouflage gear in the Swansea game …

… periods when they seemed to just vanish.

Agree with this. We should play our best available team to regain much needed confidence. We can always sub a couple in the second half if tiredness is an issue. We need to start scoring goals again....with our penalty record,we'll need them in regular time in the play-offs!:emoticon-0102-bigsm

That’s fair enough but it’s not just the tiredness to be wary of, it’s injuries and cards because Bristol will be very aggressive from the start. If Mepham had copped a second yellow card, against Swansea, I think he’d have missed two games.

Thankfully QPR will have nothing to play for, on the last day, so that's a blessing …

… hopefully Coventry and Boro will kick massive lumps out of each other <laugh>

I'd wrap him up in cotton wool tbh. Where ever he plays his quick feet make him a target for leagues cloggers.

Avoiding injuries and suspensions is crucial imo. A straight red for someone could potentially cop a 3 game ban I think?

Going to be interesting when the team news comes out

    I don’t mind the rotation

people saying things like ‘if he thinks they can turn up and just play with momentum’ etc are reaching

the starting 11 for the play offs will have all played with each other quite consistently this season

    and be fresh and rested

it’s not like we’re throwing them into a new system for the first time.

I’m just cruising now til the end of the season

It was posted on the ticket thread

    Info from a Bristol supporter.

    Coming by road.
Do NOT USE M4/M32 route and don't try to negotiate the roads and streets of Bristol
If you are coming by road use M4/M5 southbound to junction 18(Avonmouth) then follow signs A4 Bristol airport
It looks the long way round but its quicker.
Parking is normally in the streets around the area as long as you are there by midday please don't block driveways or park on corners.

Pubs not sure of which ones will be open, possibly best one are in the cumberland road basin area Nova Scotia, Pump House and The Cottage.

TRAINS if your coming by train, please have your tickets issued to Parson Street as it helps us
try and get a new train station nearer to Ashton Gate and its normally the same price
Trains from London or the Birmingham direction arrive in good time for the XX:26 XX:54 past the hour
from Bristol temple meads to Parson Street
It takes you two thirds of the way to the ground and walk the rest of the way or catch the number 24 if you struggle to walk

Special bus's depart from Bristol temple meads to the ground.
