Hope Ronnie is on form, would love to see Ali Carter dumped out first round. There's just something very unlikeable about the bloke.
Ronnie agrees with you. Mind you Ali doesnt like Ronnie either. Remember there little barging set two in a match? Ronnie behaved like an arse that day imo and they havent seen eye to eye for a long time. Maybe their closeness geographically? Maybe it is just Ronnie - he can be a bit of an arse like I say. Best ever though. Carter has dealt with a fair bit to still be playing. Not my fav, but I respect his toughness. I am a Higgins fan personally. Talk about tough players. Really enjoy watching Murphy and Judd play too. The lad coming off a betting ban needs looking out for too. Trump for me.
Agree about Carter, can't knock him for what he's been through. Still don't like the bloke though, don't even like to watch him tbh. Higgins looked really good in the Tour Champioship, think he's got a great chance. Love the World's though, can't wait for it to start. Long weekend off, and away in the M/H.....bliss.
I love them too. Been a couple of times and it is a class little venue with an atmosphere despite the silence.
I agree not a fan of Carter at all. Ronnie got a 147 in less than 7 minutes in practice the other day which probably means little but might suggest the magic is there at the moment. I think he's happy with his cue which has been an issue in recent years.
Robertson wins first 4 frames, now just 1 behind, 6 - 7 going into mid session interval. Wakelin looks totally lost.
