Some of their comments (most of them) on their forum WWW.CPFC.ORG are hilarious
Taking the 5-0 defeat well <laugh><laugh>
    <laugh><laugh>

"They're owned by a country that still has literal slaves, they are a classless, northern, knuckle dragging, gibberish speaking **** pig of a club."

"GAO at the end was very poor form. You just don't take the Michael out of other clubs like that. (if you have any class)"

"Do they normally play glad all over at the end or are they taking the piss?"

"Playing glad all over is typical of that team and fanbase, they can't even win with dignity, bunch of trumped up Saudi fueled losers"

"Glad all over being played has boiled my piss. *****!!!!"

"They deserved it tonight, yes they stone gays, beat women and murder journalists, but when it comes to buying wins the Arabs are a class above, fair play to them and one day I hope we too are owned by a corrupt bunch of homophobes that can not just buy success but can also keep things in the right places by barbaric brutality."

I did wonder why they were getting so pissed about this song.

I hadn’t realised it’s one of their go to songs when they win at home.

    Bet that pissed them off.

    Oh I did
I had realised it straight away, <laugh>

I was doing the hands up and down on the belly laughing at Palace players as they came across to applause what was left of their fans

****housery belting out from the stadium speakers, that could be my favourite moment of the season (aside from the cup win of course).

If be more worried as a Palace fan hearing Guehi’s post match interview than anything else! Pretty sure if Howe ever heard any of our players, let alone the team captain come out with a statement like “It’s good to be humbled, sometimes you need that” he’d tear them a new one!

Crikey is that what he said. The fans won’t like that either. Their players just couldn’t handle ours.

Last 5 games we have scored 15 and conceded 2. One of which was a penalty.

Some seriously good performances for the lads.

In regards to us challenging for the title, i think a few signings get us there. Us being a global powerhouse, that's a long time away because it require not just 1st team, but academy, infrastructure and revenue, we need CL a few seasons in a row for that type of thing.

We need write a few signings really.
We get a few then we could complete if our first team stay fit all season. But as we know, suspensions and injuries happen and our squad is not strong enough especially playing in a European competition next season.

To me, we need upgrades in replacement midfielders. Miley for Joelinton but then we have nothing really. Willock, can't be relied on sadly.

First team needs: GK, RCB, RW.
Squad needs: GK (assuming Pope were to leave as not first choice), 2 CM, a CB (unless EH decides to promote a youngster), a back up striker and a 3rd choice striker (seeing as they are not willing to play Osula), a right winger (unless EH decides to promote a youngster)

Honestly think that with a GK, RCB and a RW and possibly a second CF we are challenging in the near future. All could come in this summer...

If we can clear the decks and trim the wage bill to get those 3/4 players in I think we can seriously start looking at consistent CL qualifications and title challenges.

Those signings elevate us without a doubt, and make our bench stronger for the extra matches. Being in the mix for the top 6 is still an amazing feeling, but imagine how it would feel to be pushing top 4 season after season.

Great game, but I'll honestly remember it for Eze's penalty more than anything else, that was seriously ****ing comedy

    softest penalty given against us
you won't see many of those given - they will always say with their new phrase now, "it was a coming together"

I remember Longstaff getting kicked in the face at Liverpool and no penalty

On the plus side, at least it improved Longstaff's looks.

100%. It was a coming together, because Pope clearly got a touch on the ball, so VAR should've said play on. Clear and obvious my ****ing arse.

Right, now he's a photo of a black guy in a Newcastle shirt then actually has some relevance to this game. Marc Guehi has scored twice for us this season:

But do you have one of him peering around a tree and rubbing his hands together?

    Asking for a friend.

Squinting intently, rubbing his hands together, licking his lips, and wearing a ridiculous bright yellow jacket with no shirt underneath and hiding behind a tree?

Not yet, but he'll need to get that look together in case he ever goes to a nonces and child molesters themed fancy dress party.

On a serious note, having seen him this season (and not just his 2 own goals for us), I'm kinda glad we didn't shell out big money for him in the summer. I trust the club's judgement on transfers. They've done pretty well so far since the takeover. But in this case I think we were lucky that Palace got too greedy and priced him out.

We'd gone overboard with the bid and I'm glad we didn't get held to ransom and actually gone for it. He was flavour of the month then, and it was one of the only times we've tried to make an "in" signing.

We sure have gone for Joakim Anderson, who Fulham got for £30m, and looks better than Guehi.
