I am not sure now that compared to others we are badly under represented in the media. Jamie Redknapp clearly doesn't count but the likes of Dawson, Sherwood, Hoddle and Crouch all appear regularly. Crouch and Dawson are both very pro Spurs, Hoddle wants to be but hides it well and Sherwood is sometimes with us and sometimes not. Sky also use O'Hara on SSN (I wish they didn't but he is pro Spurs). Defoe, Keane, Les Ferdinand, have all been a pro Spurs studio guest for Spurs games this season.
I can't remember which fixture it was but we recently played Liverpool and the pundits were Carragher, Sturridge and Redknapp. The latter was introduced as "former Tottenham midfielder", as if that would balance things out
Virtually all of those are on TNT, so we'll be up against foreign opponents. Sherwood and Dawson are the exceptions, but the former's on Al Jazeera.
From the BBC: Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou on team news being leaked by someone inside the club: "There is no doubt we've got a leak inside the club. Someone continues to leak out information and they have all year. I don’t know why as it just makes our job even more difficult. It doesn't help us as you don't want to give the opposition a helping hand. "We've narrowed it down. I've got a fair idea where it's coming from. We will deal with it. "It certainly doesn't help us on game days. It's sometimes half-truths and sometimes more. You'd like to think that everyone within our camp is working with us rather than against us." There was a lot of accusations that Harry Winks was behind this previously. Clearly that's no longer the case.
Another bizarre appointment. Just like his compatriot, insufficient qualifications and experience to have landed the job he did. As a club, we lack top level football experience. Without Paratici, employing Munn, Ange and the bunch of no marks on the coaching staff, God help us, Levy's got the most experience of all the club's senior staff. Did he engineer the situation? Was he too blind to see it? Who cares? It's just another ridiculous **** up.
Gee, I wonder who it might have been who is responsible for the dramatic improvement on academy loans in the last eighteen months It can't possibly have been somebody whose remit included overhauling the pipeline from academy to first team, and the first step was getting the key players regular minutes on loan, could it...? But no, say "incompetence" and hit post...
