Supreme Court judges make landmark ruling on definition of a woman in huge decision Woman don't have DICKS, Starmer take note.. https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/2042351/transgender-woman-supreme-court-ruling-live
The saying; ‘if my granny had balls……’ will soon be redundant and pointless, given the direction we are headed in…!
Er - sorry Wiz, some actually DO. It’s unusual, but it happens and they do exist. They used to be called ‘hermaphrodites’ but I understand that term is now frowned upon as being disrespectful. I’ve no idea what the modern ‘polite’ term to use is. I actually know someone personally with this condition. He’s the 4 year old foster son of a friend of mine - rejected by his real parents because of his condition. The poor little kid has had loads of invasive surgery to remove his female parts which were not as developed as his male parts - hence they all made the decision he would be a boy. Despite all this he’s a happy little kid. God only knows what he will go through in his teens though - we’ll have to wait and see…… Of course I know that it wasn’t any of those people that brought about the court action.
what a ****ing state society is when a court has to tell people what your mother wife and daughters are!!!
It's beyond stupid that we've had to listen to this bollocks for so long (from people that have them). Humans cannot change sex. Mammals cannot be hermaphrodites. You are almost certainly referring to differences in sexual development (DSD) Differences in sex development - NHS
I bow to your superior knowledge on this Clifton as I believe you are someone who has worked in the health profession. All I can say is that the hermaphrodite label/term has been used - maybe incorrectly (on the street/in the pub) to describe this condition. Oh and I completely agree with your first statement btw. How much money has been spent on arguing and debating this ridiculous question? Perhaps we should simply change toilet signs to display a cock or a vagina, rather than the traditional outline of a man and women - or the words/letters? FFS it does my head in.
Believe it or not I did realise ‘hermaphrodites’ or ' Intersex ' (modern desciption ) people exist, it's the same with conjoined twins, they are all part of the human race and should be treated so without doubt, I genuinely hope the young child you know continues with a happy life and future, my comment was aimed at the fool Starmer who finds it difficult to understand the biology of our species.
Of course Wiz. I did know. I was being slightly pedantic. The whole debate has been brought about by people who want to dress and behave as the opposite sex and then force everyone else to behave as if they genuinely are their preferred gender. It’s forcing people to join in with their fantasies/needs. I’m genuinely unprejudiced - I think people who want to dress and behave like the opposite sex are, to me, behaving a bit weirdly, but they are human and deserve the same respect as the rest of us. We have 1 gay person, 1 bi person and a trans ‘woman’ in our immediate family, so I think I can back up my claim of non-prejudice. Having said that, as I said in my reply to Cliftonville; the whole thing has become an utter nonsense - and must have cost absolutely loads of money. You can identify as whatever gender you want, but when it comes to the law, if you have a penis you are biologically male and if you have a vagina then you are biologically female. End of. (Intersex people being the only exception of course)
But a lot of this ‘bollocks’ has come from academics in top universities and it’s also where hating Britains history, trying rewrite our past, suggesting reparations for ex colonies, and all whilst calling us all racists and far right bigots came from They overlook that Britain abolished the Slave trade at the cost of hundreds or thousands of Royal Navy lives and that had it not been for Churchill we’d all be speaking German This has rubbed off on activist judges who now won’t deport serious foreign criminals because their kid doesn’t like Albanian chicken nuggets and many other such stories They all need taking down
The whole cabinet are idiotic, thick and self seeking. Keir Starmer The Labour leader got into hot water in 2023 when saying some women have got penises. He previously supported so-called ‘self ID’, which would allow men to immediately access women-only spaces without the need for a legal gender certificate. He argued that 99.9% of women “of course haven’t got a penis”, implying some do. He also said: “Trans women are women, and that is not just my view - that is actually the law". Rachel Reeves When asked by LBC’s Nick Ferrari whether it is wrong to say that “only women have a cervix”, the then-Shadow Chancellor failed to provide an answer, pivoting to accusing the entire debate around women’s rights of being “unproductive”. She added: “The vast majority of women share biological attributes”, again implying that some women can have penises Angela Rayner Angela Rayner said it is “not acceptable” for a trans women to be asked whether they have a penis or not. The deputy Labour leader argued that the whole debate about whether women can have a penis causes “real damage” to trans people and is “debasing” the debate. In 2024 Ms Rayner stood by her endorsement of a charter which described anti-trans women’s groups as “hate groups”. Pat McFadden When asked in 2024 whether trans women can use a woman’s bathroom, Mr McFadden reacted exasperatedly to Nick Ferrari, hitting back: “You’ve enjoyed asking this question I think in recent days, Nick” He merely said: “Let’s act with a bit of kindness to people uh rather than using them as some kind of gotcha question in an interview.“ David Lammy When asked whether it’s transphobic to say only women can have a cervix, the shadow foreign secretary replied: “I don't know if it's transphobic, but it it's not, accurate, Nick. I mean, obviously, it's probably the case that only, that trans women don't have ovaries. But a cervix, I understand, is something that you can have, following various procedures and hormone treatment and all the rest of it.” It was pointed out that no man can grow a cervix. When debating trans rights at Labour conference in 2021, Mr Lammy accused opponents of being “dinosaurs”. Yvette Cooper In 2022 the shadow home secretary refused to define what a woman is, saying she would not be dragged “down rabbit holes”. She refused three times to define what a woman was in the same Times Radio interview John Healey In June last year shadow defence secretary John Healey refused to back the Tories’ election pledge to protect single-sex spaces by changing the Equality Act. Mr Healey insisted that the legislation already exists to provide necessary safeguards for biological women - something today’s Supreme Court ruling proved incorrect. He described the Tories’ policy as a “distraction” and something that was “not needed”. Wes Streeting Wes Streeting admitted last year that he was wrong to parrot Stonewall’s claim that “trans women are women, get over it.” He told The Sun: “I say this with some self-criticism and reflection – if you’d asked me a few years ago, on this topic, I would have said trans men are men, trans women are women. Some people are trans, get over it. Let’s move on. This is all blown out of proportion. “And now I sort of sit and reflect and think actually, there are lots of complexities.” “I take the criticism on the chin. And at the same time, I also think that there’s been some absolutely ugly rhetoric directed towards trans people who are at the wrong end of all of statistics on hate crime, on self harm, suicide, mental health Bridget Phillipson In 2024 the then-shadow education secretary Bridget Phillipson said that trans women with penises would be able to use women-only bathrooms under Labour’s plan to make gender changing easier. Lisa Nandy The culture secretary entered a war of words with JK Rowling after she said it is shameful to reduce the transgender debate to one of body parts. The author accused Ms Nandy of arguing in favour of putting male rapists in women’s prisons if they self-identify as women. Ms Nandy said: “When we look at the way we reduce the debate to things like bodily parts, I think when we look back in history we will be utterly ashamed of ourselves.” Ian Murray The Scottish secretary said that trans-exclusionary feminists, such as those who brought today’s supreme court ruling, should be expelled from the Labour Party. Speaking to Diva Magazine in 2020, Mr Murray said that the arguments from those opposing trans people in women-only spaces “make me very uncomfortable… We have to make sure that anybody who’s having any sort of hate or discriminatory views is stopped from being in the party” He said there is “no place” for their views in the Labour Party. https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/2042529/labour-ministers-trans-rights-list
Wiz Tbf I expect the previous lot said similar, probably the only straight answer would be from Nigel Farage.
I still do, three decades in, winding down now as retirement is coming over the hill. The term down the pub will be used incorrectly, humans really cannot be hermaphrodites. Millions will have been spent on these questions. Organisations like Stonewall with funding from Governments have received money to misinterpret the law (deliberately), and have worked as advisors to misinform organisations throughout society. This ruling reaffirms what is already in law. Various acts when referring to men, women, and sex are referring to sex not gender. Those signs on those doors mean sex. Single sex only. Always have, and this is the law.
Careful - a STRAIGHT answer would, by definition, be homophobic or transphobic and therefore WRONG…….
I bet most Labour MPs are screaming about the ruling as to what a woman is and having to do a u turn on this warped ideology They now also need to do the right thing and u turn on their failed immigration policy, Net Zero, and their illiterate financial and taxation policies
They simply can't make up their mind and stick to it ! Proving that their ideals and principles are either badly judged, or just plain wrong to start with. Whether it's kneeling for BLM or saying women can have a penis, it's all warped. Useless bunch of idiots Let's hope the Wokerati in some divisions of the NHS now get the message and stop asking 65 year old blokes if they might be pregnant on questionaires too.
