We had a great last 20 thought we were going to nick it. Few great moments from good defending and getting the ball forward quickly, Kamara made a great tackle and then set Gelhardt away but he slipped. Amrabat was so direct with his passing too. Great subs, credit to the manager as many disagreed with them

Picking up on some of the posts. Coventry are a good side and a pleasure to watch, Im sure this is what Acun was ai ming for. Unfortunately we are way off that level currently. That being said, I would not like to be the other 3 teams in the play offs against them and they'd be my choice to go up. It just shows what selective recruitment can do for you after selling your best assets. So to get a point is priceless. Grimes was someone I said we should go after who he was at Swansea and at £4 million he was a steal.

Theres understandably a nervousness in the squad, but they and the manager just have to find a way and write this season off. We need a leader on the pitch which we're lacking. Pedro seems so frustrated with service he resorted to coming back and helping out Coyle. (get Drameh starting) The look he gave him when right behind him for the chance he missed. As for Macca get beaten far too often, he deserves huge credit for filling that hole so well and was in part last night an outlet for attack. Not bad for a tug of a centre back.

    Things to change improve :
Gelhardt watch Jarrods goals here and his early shooting don’t be afraid of having a go
Lewie and Joe show and scream for the ball on the wing and work together more , almost did it first half
    Lincoln’s NOT a winger he’s too slow
    Pedro cannot play alone
Despite their ‘better ‘ forwards they still didn’t score again - we’d have been apoplectic

Couldn't get to the game last night as we were flying back from our hols. Delighted to hear we got a point from what sounded like a tough game. Does that goal make Chris (Kamara) our top scorer with 5? Unbelievable!

in the first half, lincoln was by far our best player, a few times he looked a bit faster than our other players, at moving the ball, he also made a few decent passes
im not sure what he was like pre injury, but he has absolutely no pace, i'd like to see him play where palmer did yesterday
i know gelhardts probably best position is there, but gelhardt is probably our most direct player, so in a way, for our team i think we need gelhardt wider

I'm happy to get a point against a clearly better team

We just need to stay up and then hopefully actually have a plan for next season

Yepp. Why the hell when we make a clearance the ball drops right onto the head or the foot of one of theirs? It's as if we're saying 'go on here's another chance to have an effort on our goal.' I must have counted five or six times when we presented them with another opportunity. True..we got lucky last night. If our luck is about to change for the better, you won't hear a compliant from me.

On next season, we need a big rebuild over the summer. That side will struggle in League One...If we stay up next season will be the same as this unless there's some real quality coming in....Which I doubt. Also desperately need a leader in the middle of the park...

I like Kamara. He’s a very genuine guy and obviously a confidence player, and clearly not a natural talker. I hope he goes on to have a long successful career with us.

Spot on. Rosenior doesn’t have to justify himself to anyone. A really talented manager we’ve let slip through our fingers due to Acun’s hissy fit. As the owner, he’s allowed hissy fits - but what followed with Walter was an utter nightmare. Allsop meanwhile has a League One championship medal with Brum, Yes Pandur is a far better shot stopper but Allsop’s distribution was a class above. Liam rated the latter more important to his style of play and that’s the end of it really.

    none of that even matters

almost no manager would have benched alsop last season
he wasnt making howlers, he just isint as good a shot stopper and has weaknesses

look how long it took leeds to drop their keeper and he has been making howlers for example

plus, i still believe pandur benefitted far more to starting in pre season than coming into england in january and into the firing line

You also have to consider at the time Pandur was completely unproven, so to drop Allsop, who was pretty decent for the most part, would have been a risk.

Imagine if he made the switch and Pandur played like he did in pre-season, it would have been a disaster.

I think it worked out well for all parties, and it’s only with the hindsight of this season that we rate Pandur so highly.

On Allsopp. I was never a big fan or massive critic, but anyone see his error the other week when Brum were playing Barnsley?..A relatively simple shot and he helped it into his own net. He'd have been hung, drawn and quartered here...Not sure what the Brum lot make of him. Doubt if he'll figure much for them next season as they're looking to do a Ipswich.

Everyone needs to stop ****ting themselves, Cov are good, real tidy outfit. We stuck in the mix had chances to take the lead and got ourselves a well fought point, since Selles has come in before the game we was 8th and them 3rd, this is even with our squad littered with injuries… with Millar Belloumi and Matazo we are a wildly different side with serious prospects under Selles, the lack of cutting edge is a real issue and will reduce the pressure on the side next year if the opposition have something to think about on the break.

Allsop playing over Pandur absolutely cost the club last year, without a single shadow of a doubt he was burger.

Ever thought what Rosenior would have done this season without the players we lost and with the ones we actually have now? Not as well,as last season would be my guess.
