Pandur Gelhardt Hughes Well done to the subs, made a big difference going forward to get the equaliser
Pandur who was superb and very unlucky to be beaten by a wicked deflection. Geldharte, played his heart out and a constant threat up front. Amrabat for making a impact from the subs bench and leaving his mark on the game. The cross field pass to Kamara which led to the goal was top drawer. His enthusiasm and commitment is to be applauded because the fella does put his heart and soul into playing for Hull City. .. On the game itself. Firstly anyone that says we are a lucky club can go and **** themselves. Secondly, Coventry were very good, bigger, stronger, faster and better organised than us all over the field. They had good vocal away support too because they came here expecting to roll us over. We should have scored in the first half from our only spell of sustained pressure, Palmer was unlucky with his shot which beat the keeper but hit someone on the line, the two rebounds could have gone anywhere, like Luton's did last home game, and of course Coventry straight after half time tonight did. That aside we had Pandur to thank for still being in the game at half time for he was outstanding tonight. Second half I thought we were a shambles until the substitutions. Pedro had a poor game and we looked slow in everything we did, no-one was finding space and time and time again there was nothing up front to pass too. Geldharte ran his socks off but he was playing by himself up front and therefore kept running into brick walls. But we stuck at it and salvaged a point. A very valuable point too. For all his critics near me when he came on, Kamara pulled the rabbit out of the hat for us, thankfully and we all went home happy instead of seething.
Pandur - simply outstanding, and currently the difference between defeats and grabbing something Egan - added an assured presence Hughes - unlucky with the deflection but again generally sound and shows that urgency when we need to get out of defence.
1 ... Pandur. Easy choice 2 ... Geldhardt. He put in a big shift tonight. 3 ... Kamara. Thanks for the goal A very important point.
Pandur was Myhillesque Amrabat for the assist and effort.Him coming on changed the game. Gelhardt for plugging on even though he was knackered.
1. Pandur 2. Kamara - because ultimately that goal could be hugely important 3. Slater - should have had 2 assists last night Honourable mentions to Amrabat who seems to bring something different when he comes on, and Gelhardt for constantly trying to make things happen.
