I did find it funny during game said he’s out his hand up to protect his face… from the ball? You mean like… a header?
It didn't happen to be identical to the push in the back on Virgil for the Fulham goal did it? You know the one everyone was talking about ......
for all our "poor form" we have won 4 of our last 5 in PL and think only Wolves have more points in the same period
I think we've scored more points in the last 10 games in the last 10 games than any other team also. I also read a stat the other that about Arsenal missing Saka so badly, they scored more pts per game when he was out than the period before his injury apparently.
I've been away for a couple of weeks (don't say you didn't notice) and I haven't read back much - but I have seen a few references to "stumbling over the finishing line". I don't get it. You're running a marathon, you're a mile from the finish, all but two of your rivals have fallen by the wayside and those two are 5 miles behind and at walking pace - why would you go for that last sprint when you can win easily just by keeping steady? The early pace has won the race. As much as anyone I want football to be entertaining, but I recognise that under the circumstances, after a long arduous season, the run-in may be a little less exciting than I'd hoped for. There might be a few celebratory games before the end, but I'm expecting most to be just enough to get us there.
Imo there's "in the middle of it" and "looking back" I think when we look back over the whole season we will be OK. It's painful dragging through these games right now.
