Fortunately I doubt it will have any impact on the result (because this score was always too big to chase), but that whole hour or so was farcical. I feel sorry for our batters.

But then again, I've never agreed with taking the light decision away from the batters.

 

RAWMOK will be extremely happy. Not sure Crawley will be. This was a missed opportunity to make a big score against Middlesex's "world" class attack.
