We won't sign him but if we did then I think Delap would start most of the cup games and also in the league after every European game (between 15-25 games depending on how we did in cups etc). He'd also get starts when Isak needed a rest and if Isak got injured. As he offers something different he'd be on as a sub most games too. Suspect he'd get 20+ starts and 50 games overall for us. It's like how Barnes is to Gordon. Ps I also think we're more at risk of losing Isak next summer (when he has 2 years left on his contract) and it would be great to have an established striker at the club to step up at that point. Then using the money from Isak for other parts of the team could be transformative.
Neave being on the bench indicates to me that he is being lined up to act as our additional striker once Wilson leaves
