You won't be finishing ahead of us I'm afraid. You can dream about it, and play all these hypothetical scenarios in your head, but it shan't be happening.

You'll finish below us again like you always do. And next season, it will be more of the same.

I never said we would mate, but it's true isn't it? Newcastle could be 4 points behind the great Arsenal (doesn't win trophies) with Arsenal still to play by Wed night.

Yes or no? The answer should be telling you something.

Next season? Thats why I'm here.

I mean, yes, but this 'great' Arsenal team you're talking about has not been good this season. We may be 2nd in the league right now, but this has been a poor season based on the standards set over the previous 2 years. And it's a damning indictment on the rest of the other teams that we're even as high up as we are.

The prospect of finishing ahead of us in what has been a pretty drab, mediocre season isn't anything to get giddy about.

We've been ****ed by countless weird refereeing decisions. I do think we've been reffed to a completely different standard as everyone else.

Had insaine long term injuries and had to change styles/systems as a result. I just think there's been no momentum because of that.

With our injuries, bizarre red cards, inconsistent reffing, garbage transfer windows and also downright rubbish football for a lot of this season…. for 18 teams to be below us in the league is embarrassing for quite a few of them. Chelsea, City, Villa and Newcastle should be the most ashamed given their squad quality and how much it cost to put them together.

I also think our method of chance creation needs to improve against settled/low-mid blocks who compress the centre of the field. We've struggled with this all season, even before our injury crisis.
