Finished Cardiff 0-1 Stoke and with Plymouth beating Sheff Utd it's going to be a fun finish at the bottom!
Up to 12th on 54 points, surely we are safe now Taffy me boy? I always think 45 points is safe though one year in the last 10 that was broken....
Not sure how many matches Sheehan has been in charge for ( I think 9 if Blackburn at home was his first match), but here's the form table for the last 10 matches :
That’s right - we’ve won 17pts out of a possible 27: that would guarantee a play off spot if replicated over a full season.
Form table since Sheehan has been in charge. That run includes games against 3 of the Top 4 (Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland)
If this form continues until the end of the season, it would be crazy to not give him the job full time.
That was a long day trip I can tell you. Set off at 5am and got back by 12.10am. In between that a good refreshment stop in Durham en route to the match. Thankfully the use of a lift at the ground to get to our seats as oxygen is not provided for the walk of death up the stairs...pin pricks for players as you are so high up...a battling performance though different from the Plymouth game...a result mostly due to AS managerial skills in using his subs correctly...yes a good day out watching the team with our supporters numbering about 370 in total including a couple of stags and why not. On to the next one
