Some attractive alternative fun on offer closer to home so I’m skipping this one, including the inevitable start and goal for Sinclair Armstrong, who has a whole 3 goals from 30 something games for Bristol City, the last one scored in November.

Ticket sold within a couple of hours on the resale button, so still plenty of masochists out there…..

Enjoy all who go. I have a sneaking feeling that we will be a bit more relaxed and might play better. But no real expectations, City are doing ok.

 

Safe to say Bristol will prove stiffer opposition than Oxford

 

Release the kids. Saito, Dembele, Benni, Edwards, Yang, Kolli, Smythe etc. At least it would be entertaining, win or lose.

Worst way we’re five points off after today. Some huge games between the plebs scrapping below us and Luton have an extremely winnable home game.

The sun is out. We’re on form. Armstrong OG and a hard fought 1-0 win.

Pretty reasonable chance we get battered. They’re a very tidy side at the moment and destroyed us in the draw at theirs. One of the great backs to the wall undeserved points of all time.

 

Was that the one where their keeper had a TIA and Smyth scored from way out?

 

Yeah. We put a tiny bit of pressure on late and Cook had not even half a chance but it was about 87 minutes in our own box. The keeper was so bored he decided to go for a wander

 

Is Saito back today?
