Humphries means business, smashed the average record

 

118.4 unbelievable that. Bunting has been absolutely smoked there. Humphries was on fire.

The missus and I are taking about how Van Gerwin isn't doing as good as he was when he first became known. At the time you only had Phil Taylor at the end of his career but now you have more competition. Is it that the players around now are getting better or is Van Gerwin not as good as he was?

 

It's both imo. Barney was the same, won 2 titles and then dipped. MVG is better than Barney but he is having a dip and others, like Humphries and now Littler are raising the bar imo. This sport is only going to get better and better quality in the next few years. Could be a few more Dutch and Belgian players in it soon.
