Rigg's future is as an orthodox central player, but it looks beyond him right now. Browne remains pretty terrible if not played at right back. Neil has had some pretty loose moments and Aleksic is struggling on the right wing. Needs a fair bit of reorganisation. TBH I'd quite like to see Middlemas and Jones come in if we're genuinely saving the legs of others. They're more natural fits for those two midfield roles alongside Neil.
I do definitely feel for the poor sods who’ve travelled all day down to Norwich for this. The absolute mentalists.
Said the same thing a day or so ago get Roberts or elf in the middle of the park to release those two and we will win this and give the commentators something to talk about other than Norwich
I can see why he's playing Aleksic there I think the main problem is the levels of rust not being out of position. He got a little better towards the end.
Surely it's just a case of getting him on the pitch, not playing him in the perfect position ... ... it's not always possible to play as you'd wish.
Way too many on here impatient. Norwich look average at best, we have been very poor. Can happen when we make 4 changes. 40% of outfield different. Football is science, despite what the commentators will say. Chill and see how Regis copes. I would move Rigg to right sided 8 and Browne backwards. Let Aleksic tuck in more to a floating 10 and see if we can hold the ball better in there half. Neil has been really below par. Can he have another half that bad? Hope not.
