There's this weird thing on r/coys where they act like Kinsky is the only signing we made in January Probably can't parse Wikipedia properly...
Are they being particularly pedantic? He's the only senior transfer that we made in January, if they want to be silly about it. We also signed Yang and Mason Melia, but they're youngsters that were loaned back out. Tel and Danso are both loans who were completed in February.
Reddit? You can’t moan about me mentioning tenuous links and then talk about what they’re talking about on r/coys
Reasonably sure they only read the transfer tab on the page, and forget to scroll down to the loans in which is where Danso and Tel are listed Pedantry on r/coys tends to involve not recognising a player exists until their 21st birthday, which is getting pretty f'n weird
Would now be a bad time to mention nobody on r/coys is mentioning Calvert-Lewin as of 8pm? It's telling the only site running with it spends 90% of the article ranting about Levy, then drops "Oh yeah, we've been linked with Calvert-Lewin" right at the bottom - and even then they don't name a source for it Even SpursWeb is more subtle than that!
That sounds like Levy talk , we have spent 3 seasons moaning about Richarlison who is slightly better DCL , have we not learnt our lesson with Timo Werner
If there's any free transfers who would help our HG numbers we might be considering it's Angel Gomes, especially after Graeme Bailey's put his neck out That being said Lille have pretty much dropped him to the bench once he refused their contract offer, while in comparison Jonathan David's contract is ticking down but he's starting every game
No. Probably not. He's cheap...and so are we. No Europe next season and COYS Spurs Daniel's comments, accompanying the club's accounts point to more 'make do' signings ahead. Where's Louis Saha these days?
Pape Sarr sounds a bit deluded. Needs to actually perform for Spurs first before he dreams of clubs like Madrid being interested in him. He’s one (of many) if the money was right then I’d happily let him go this summer.
Who is reposting them is important, given there's several aggregators who only churn out rage bait, as Spurs Express have demonstrated in the last few months - and, after a little digging, it looks like The Spurs Watch are the ones who posted the tweet given they have the exact same use of emojis in their version of the post But here's the problem: where is the context for the quotes? They stripped it out completely, and by complete coincidence their doing so got the exact responses you would expect from blatant rage bait So what's the context for the quote? Easy: a reporter from D Sports Senegal asked if he'd leave if a big club came calling, and in response Sarr said: “I am focusing on the field and on Tottenham. I have to be efficient, and I trust my agents to manage discussions with other clubs. For now, I’m here, and I’m totally focused on Tottenham.” “Every player dreams of climbing the ladder and playing with the biggest clubs in the world, but as I said, I’m at Tottenham, and I’m focusing on this season with them. Anything that comes next will be a bonus. I am ready for all the challenges that will come to me.” Night and day with the selective version of the quote which The Spurs Watch posted to get their ad revenue up, isn't it? Not least because he didn;t even mention Los Ladrones, Spurs Watch made that **** up!
He didn't mention Los Ladrones once The Spurs Watch claimed he was talking about interest from them specifically
