Browne not really playing the 10 here. Off the ball he’s pressing in that second role but on the role either him or Rigg are progressing depending on the flow of the attack

 

Can't expect to play that role and not get caught out from time to time.

He is. He is the level or ahead of Mayenda the vast majority of the time. Rigg is significantly deeper.

 

I don’t understand why Browne is in the 10 but I’m also extremely confident that RLB knows more about football and about this squad than me.

 

That’s because we depend in a 442. When we get the ball it turns into a 433 he is not playing the 10.

yeh it’s not quite a 10 but he’s never able to drop fully enough to make it into the midfield 3. It’s the same problem Rigg has faced. They end up in no mans land
