I do think Villa will be just as strong next season too, stronger than them I don’t know but aye, it’s ****e but coming of social media has helped me not really care too much and focus more on us
…I’m not sure that’s the case like, the filth were just better in every department. When players like Isak and Bruno perform, they’re capable of beating any side in the world (look at PSG last season).
I think Leicester and Southampton could both have an extended period in the Championship, they’ve spent poor, they need rebuilding and they have some wage draining aging players to sort out Ipswich could set records if they keep the majority of their players and go back to playing as a team. Whoever doesn’t go up out of Sheffield, Burnley, Leeds, Sunderland and Boro, that’s two strong teams left, WBA, Coventry and Bristol will want to be challenging I think it’s far from cut and dry that Leicester and Southampton will be competing for top spot
I think Ipswich will need to sell a few as most of who they have brought in are on 50-90k a week. so they wll need move some off their books before adding could be wrong
Burnley were in chaos, when they came down, with players literally walking out but they brought more in and look like they'll get away with it. If the same happens with the three relegated teams that may not work out so well. Luton have shown how badly it can go wrong and they've even lost their bunker mentality ... ... that can only last so long before Eva Braun starts getting on your tits and the alsatians are shiitting all over the floor
We were too, (in chaos) all our players started leaving due to a crazy loan clause in case of relegation. Ipswich bought championship players on championship wages, I’d guess it was easy inserting a relegation wage drop into their contracts I don’t think they’ll have any money to spend without shifting players out. The problem for them will be replacing Delap, strikers are like hens teeth at this level, if good enough they join PL teams Also forward planing, they already know those Championship players were not good enough for the step up, they don’t seem to have any youth development or overseas scouting network
I agree. They’ll likely lose Delap and a few others but they still have a lot of players who will be very good at this level. The other two I think will struggle. Recruitment has been dreadful for both of them. Leicester squad really starting to age now.
Me too, don’t think it particularly matters though Boro would have serious momentum with a win tonight…
