I got home and watched the second half of Villa against Forest, brilliant game of end to end attacks - so different to the dross served up at Loftus Road.
Honestly I feel like we're trapped in ****ing groundhog day. Every season the same, start ****, have a good run and people start talking play offs then have a really **** run and get sucked back into the relegation mix then finally (hopefully) scrape together a point or two to finish ****ing 16th. When's it going to change?
Didn't post yday as nothing to add. But after watching the highlights, it was a clear handball and we should have had a pen. Goals change games, even, or maybe especially, dire games.
That was like watching a Sunday league game. Very few of our players knew what they were supposed to be doing. Virtually no evidence of any quality anywhere on the field. Ridiculous amounts of hoof ball instead of getting the ball down and playing. Until we start playing as a team and our players know their jobs we are in serious trouble.
Marti got the team wrong again. How can be possibly think yang and Anderson deserve to start? I'd rather see field at centre back and Edwards and varane in midfield v oxford . Field not ready for 90 mins in midfield yet.Dembele for yang . Oxford is another must not lose.
Hard to see what sort of tactics Marti is playing, we're really rudderless at the moment. Cardiff were shyte as well...
I some times think that he's trying to be too clever for the simplicity of his players. This playing out from the back with the likes of Dunne, Cook, Fox etc, who aren't renowned for their ball playing abilities is crazy, then the options in front are all defensive minded players, who's first thought is to pass it backwards, regardless of the scenario they find themselves in. Our wingers drop deeper and deeper as we are still on the edge of our 18 yard box and it leaves a lonesome Frey or Celar up top, neither having any pace to turn a defence and finding themselves having to try hold it up for so long as everyone else has gone short. It's great if you have the players and movement to pull it off, if you don't then a good press from the opposition will either make you go long to an isolated, slow forward or hurry you in to a mistake.
We weren't that good. Don't know what you guys are moaning about. You won't go down. It is very likely we will.
Yesterday's game was one between two very poor sides. As you suggest, though, we're highly unlikely to go down. Nice to see your lot clapping the Tiger Cubs at half-time.
I find it difficult to go now, I've suffered over fifty years of this ****. How much longer do you put up with the effort of going? Is it blind faith? Loyal supporter?
QPR’s crawl to conclusion continues with Cardiff bore-draw – Report - Queens Park Rangers News | Loft For Words
For life...in my case. I have to go. They are my team. I know them, I am involved. I have no choice. It's a roller coaster. There will be ups. There have been some tremendous ups. I really wouldn't want to be a supporter of a team in Manchester. Being 5th in the PL is a disaster. Paying 100s of pounds to watch a team. Give me the Rs where ever they take me. Anyway we have always got the best kit in the whole league...always You Rrrrs
That's a bad read....and a shocking stat Sam Field’s earlier than expected return from injury was also welcome. QPR had lost four and drawn one of the five games played in his absence and have only won three times in four years without him on the pitch.
