The gents is a bit of coregated tin nailed to the back wall, food is pies, drinks are tea, coffee or bovril. Doesn't matter which you choose as the first time you try to pick up the cup it will be so hot you will drop it all over your shiny docs.
The Championship is the final resting place of many an up and coming manager. He'd be better off having a semi decent run in European competition with Strasbourg and going in as the Chelsea/Man utd manager. I've no idea what managers salaries are like though. He's getting a lot of praise from his players about listening to their needs and helping them develop their abilities. Looks impressive. I'll file it under one of the many places I'd like to visit, but probably won't get/make time or opportunity to... (Although I'm moving to Germany for a year soon, so within driving distance). This filing cabinet is only marginally smaller than the books I'd like to read!
Newcastle win the long crossbar challenge against Leicester then score on the follow up for a second...
I could easily see him being Chelsea manager at some point next season. Maresca won't last too much longer and Rosenior is already in the organisation and doing well.
Maresca’s doing a decent job. I’m not sure why Chelsea fans think he’s underperforming as they’re in a good position to finish 4th and get Champions League football next season. They have a ridiculously bloated squad but I think most of that is due to the ownership rather than the head coach. Most of the criticism about Maresca is that he’s quite inexperienced as a head coach and he’s from the rigid positionist school of Guardiola. Rosenior is very similar so I don’t see it being an upgrade or change in approach. Rosenior’s got his ideal job at Strasbourg as the average squad age is 22.7 and there are only four players over the age of 23 in the entire squad.
I'm not saying it makes sense I'm saying I could see the Chelsea owners doing it. I think the form in the second half of the season has been quite poor from Chelsea and owners tend to get short term memory lapse that sees them forget the good first half of the season form that got the club to that position in the first place.
Because he'll be likely to leave Weds before too long and Norwich, after a disappointing season, will be likely to finish the bloke they've got at the minute. Its a good fit. Plus Norwich have a history of getting Germans in...Maybe its the mustard and the Bratwurst connection.
Fair enough, I think he was an assistant at Southampton, they tried to get him when they got rid of Martin, and he now wants out of Wednesday, so I suspect Rohl to Southampton is far more likely..
The guy heading the recruitment of a new manager at Southampton also worked previously with Rohl at Leipzig. Sometimes its who you know rather than what you know.
As this was a Brucie Bonus expecting Newcastle to score more in second half .. I'm re-investing all of it on different players to score first tonight... Macca 75/1... come on son!!!!... and CH is still 40/1..
