Another weekend of mediocrity for the Hornets - why can we only play for 45 mins. Congratulations to Fez for accurately predicting it thus leading to a whopping score of 133. Second highest of the day was by Hackney with 96, which really places pressure on Mark as we enter the closing stages. Chris also did well jumping into fourth.​

My race for a European spot with my league form is affecting my cup form

 

And where did that 133 get me? Nowhere! We're having a bit of a mare this season!! Still, a welcome silver lining for me at least!
Oh, and Eltham Palace was worth the visit and some nice pubs in the town, too.

Another weekend of 45 minute football from the Horns, and the suspicion that some teams are already on their summer holidays, typical end of season stuff. on a day of very ordinary scores on here, in which scores in the region of 60-80 could be considered good, Hackney managed to break the trend with a whopping 130. Hackney leads coming into the closing straight but with Easter coming up (and a double header) changes are still possible. Looks like the season is over for the horns.​

I don't think I am going to make the top 6 ,even if I win every round. Souind familiar ?

 

Now I'm just content to be above Mrs Fez this season. Been below average for me, and she's having a torrid time of it!

Another weekend of unpredictable scores with Sheff Utd and Sunderland both losing, and Oxford winning at the Wendies. On here Hackney extended his lead on a weekend of generally low scoring. Highest of the day was by Mrs Andy with 122 ensuring that places 9 - 12th are a purely family affair. theghost is very much on form at the moment and I can sense rattling chains behind me. Yorkie and Scully also both did well. Next weekend we have a double header of fixtures on the friday and monday.​

Here is what our table looks like after the first round of Easter. Despite the Honets losing it was a high scoring round with 5 of us ttopping the hundred mark, this was partly explained by quite a lot of jokers scoring well on the late game at Sheff Utd. Highest of the day was my own followed by Mrs Andy and Hackney. Surprisingly nobody got anywhere near the Norwich-Portsmouth result ! A couple of changes in the top places but Hackney still looks very secure with not much time left. Yorkie, if you can direct me to your tips then I will update the table, but I can't find them anywhere.​

Mrs Andy made up 93pts on me last week and another 40pts this week. Before that I was 232pts ahead of her - now 99.

Really coming into the final lap here with just two rounds left. Those of us tipping optimistically on the hornets are suffering again and again on here, also Sunderland and West Brom both losing at home caught most of us by surprise - though Sunderland presumably have the play offs in their sights being guaranteed fourth whatever happens. Some very low scoring on here. Paul managed 104 but everywhere else it was either average or low. With two rounds left Hackney looks uncatchable - with 133 points lead, but is still possible as we all know. Something of a fight going on for second place. Andy could be on the way to the family crown. But which teams are mentally on their summer holidays (my question mark sign doesn't work - result of using a 12 year old computer) the next two weeks will show.​

Another disappointing weekend on our last away game of the season. Only one round left now and it looks to be all settled at the top with Hackney holding a 149 point lead following the highest score of the round (113). Second highest was by Frenchie with 108. The last round is notoriously hard to predict with so many team already mentally on their summer holidays, and some already in the play offs avoiding injuries. ​
