We used to put people like this in mental hospitals. We now have "care in the community" <laugh>

I had read online about kids going to school saying they are cats and dogs etc... I believed it was some kind of rage bait tbh. Until the last couple weeks I've had from two people about it happening in schools they attend or work in!

I was told they wear tales and mask, bark or meow in class. Which lead me to ask do they **** outside on the school field and eat a tin of pedigree chum for dinner? Because if they don't they are choosing the bits that cause the disruption and get the attention but without the inconvenient parts.

We don't care in the community we now pretend like there is nothing wrong and anyone who says other wise in education and career setting would be on thin ice!

There's some "furries" in my bairns school, absolute madness.

I don't mind people calling themselves whatever they want, just don't kick off if other people refuse to call you that.

I'm quite easy going about a lot of stuff but this strikes me as kids playing the system! Like I said why aren't they eating dog food but they are barking etc...

That's a good thing in my opinion ...

.. this is worse because we're being ordered, by law, to respect their behaviour.

Absolutely ridiculous. I’d remove my kids from the school in that scenario, to be honest. It shows a complete lack of seriousness and respect for the other kids education. There is a line between allowing 'self-expression' and completely undermining the purpose of school. When I was at school you'd get sent home if you came in with your hair dyed a daft colour, maybe that was too much but letting kids wear tails and purr ffs, literally unbelievable!

That’s exactly what they’re doing. As adults we can see that but kids are doing what they think they can get away with. I agree with Smug though. It seems we are being made to celebrate people’s mental illness and that’s wrong.

Yes it's sad when people, with few morals, can attempt to influence our children in the name of 'equality' as they see it.

Absolutely , it’s ridiculous pandering to these situations. Kids just doing copycat to look clever, or maybe they are being clever to take the mick out of teachers. Parents of all the other kids who are being disrupted should tell the teachers and parents of the dogs that it’s not to be allowed .

A girl in the bairns class at school identifies as a cat.

My bairn is very clever but also crackers and takes no **** from anyone.

She decided that for fun she was going to identify as a dog for the day and chased the cat around the school field and eventually caught her and bit her!

That was a fun phone call from the school

Mrs W had a minor operation on Friday. Been waiting ages for it and got a cancellation so it had to be done. Sacrifices you have to make. :emoticon-0148-yes:
