about the only positives from that shambles are the return of a sharp looking Bradley and some minutes for Elliott
How many teams go through a entire league season only losing a single game? Not often teams doing it only losing two or three
. If you look at the season as a whole and shuffled the results up thoroughly... This has been a good season. If you look at the last two months, it's a worrying trend. We're certainly in a massive slump right now. We will lose more games before the season ends. We'll still win the title this season... But our trajectory for long term success is looking down.
As bad as we were at least there was something to watch. The state of the Manchester Derby.. ****ing he'll.
Not that Kelleher was to blame for any of the goals or could have done better to try and stop them, but I think IF Allisson is in goal the defence doesn't act the way they do today. Just think AB has more control over the defence and gives them a sense of security. First time Konate does that goofy **** in his own box, AB gives him a talking too and it settles him down. That's what separates Kelleher from the top GK, I don't feel he has the command they do.
He did make a few mistakes during the game. None that cost us too much... But if you make mistakes you give your rivals hope.
I agree, good keeper and superb as back up but you wouldn't want him as our No.1 he's a little off that.
This is team that is most probably going to win the league when nobody expected it to, even us supporters. Next season will be the acid test for Slot. Not because of winning the league but the new players that will be coming in and those that will be leaving. He will be building his team. I don’t expect us to win the league next season or the CL, FA cup or carabao cup would be nice and a top 4. If all 3 three of Virgil, Mo and Trent go, who will be captain?
It's the same pattern as last season really, which makes sense as we only added an attacker that has barely been used, and loaned or got rid of squad players. So it underscores the lack of depth in the squad. It should be good enough to win the league this year, but there's work to do if we want to back it up next season
I'll bet you next season the team will Have most of the same faces with a few squad kids thrown in. To replace the 3 will take every available penny.
