I think you need to sack Ange if only for his own good considering his last couple of interviews . Add him to the list of managers broken by Spurs
Interesting Arsenal stat. Over the last five seasons they get 0.6 fewer points per game if Gabriel doesn’t play. If we have lost 0.6 points per game because of our multiple injuries then we would be 4th currently without them. It's too early to judge Ange.
100% this. He may or may not have lost the dressing room, but he's lost the media and the fans. In fact I think he is just that...lost! He has to go, sooner rather than later.
Who was it who said that PowerSpurs doesn’t make the same point over and over? This is the millionth time I’ve read this I swear
It’s just his arrogance, he’s happy and jolly when things are all good. Now the pressure is on, he can’t cope with the straight forward questions that the media are right to ask. It’s just another part of the job where he’s not at the required level.
Everybody else has posted that Ange is a hopeless case many times. Exactly no-one has posted any data to substantiate that claim. My point is that our current league position is entirely consistent with our injury record. If someone can show that isn't true then please post the workings.
According to my calculations this will happen in years with bad injury records. So it doesn't prove anything.
Worst win rate of any Spurs manager in the last 15+ years. Will be unable to win 10 league games at home this season. On course for worst league finish in 22 years. First manager to lose first four games vs Chelsea. Just one win in London derbies against our “big 3”. He admitted at Celtic that his demanding system causes injuries, to which we’ve more than seen as such at Spurs. He also admitted just the other day that he got the planning wrong for the season.
Not everyone actually. I am however now convinced he's a liability. But all this 'show me the stats to prove I'm wrong' stuff only works if you yourself have empirical evidence, which you clearly don't. Where have you shown Your workings about teams with bad injury seasons? You haven't - because you really can't - it doesn't exist. And - this is an opinion only - even if you could evidence it, I doubt whether it would be extreme enough to suggest a drop from top 6 to bottom 4.
https://www.physioroom.com/advice/premier-league-injury-table/ Arsenal has have more injuries than spurs. Brighton the same number and Villa/Man City just behind. But they are all in the correct half of the PL table. They are managing their injuries far better than Spurs.
Ange's system is reliant on Romero and Mickey Van to create moves, Cuti with through balls from deep and Mickey Van with is ball carrying. Take them out of the team and the system starts to fall apart, as Danso is the only CB who can realistically replicate that This doesn't cover all the issues, of course, but so many issues we have right now do boil down to one component or another of his system either not being available, not being fit enough to influence for 90 minutes, or in the case of players such as Bissouma only functioning for one facet of the system and not multiple facets The overreliance on low risk/high percentage chance creation by playing it wide over and over and over and over and over and over again are all firmly on him, mind
