Thanks, Only just seen your previous post at least a Norwich-born manager won today! Best of luck for the season! I tipped you guys to be in the playoffs before the season started.
You never can tell; however. I’m gracious enough to admit that if both teams had their strongest match day 16 available, I doubt we win 2-0.
impressive that very impressive we are playing some good football just need to keep it going -Xmas is a good time to see what we’re about. 3 points of fourth yet drawing far to many games.
I don't know about a home win at full strength, but I don't think we would have lost. It isn't just a matter of numbers missing, nor even whether they're normally first choice starters or whatever, you also have to look at where in the development cycle you are. At the start of the season, virtually all of us on here were expecting a mid table finish; we've outperformed expectation so far. But with so many new players, and young ones at that, the loss of our experienced backbone of keeper (Gunn), CM midfield x2 (McLean, Núñez) and striker (Sargent) has stopped us in our tracks.
When Sargent with his pace is in the team defences cannot afford to be caught one on one. At the moment there is little danger as long as they double up on Sainz as not even a cross into the box is worthwhile as we lack height and strength up front. Drastic times might require short term drastic ideas - my suggestion - stick Hanley up front for the next game.
Connor Southwell doesn't mince words regarding McLean's inexcusably letting the side down: (fast forward to min 7.47)
I thought some of the players played quite welly without creating anything. Oxymoron? About sums up the team the the mo ment. Doyle is no LB. Totally wasted there.
Aren’t you worried that if we continue like this you won’t get the chance to beat us in the Championship next season?
