Thought we played well within ourselves today, but controlled the second half. Wasnt pretty, and we brought the darker arts today. Winning games like that is never a bad sign though.

I thought there was some very good performances today. Mepham is different class. Mayenda was a beast. Patto was very solid. I thought Neil, last 30, was excellent at the game mgt and disruption. Rigg looked good all game for me, you forget he is 17, game as a badger he is.

I thought though there was one elite player. Jobe. I mean this kid has everything. He was more defensive minded today and shone. I saw some pace today which I wasnt sure he had. The lad is going all the way to the top. I sat with a couple of youth coaches and they were just loving his performance. I dont say this lightly but he might well be the best player in the championship now. Frightening prospect. If we go up I would have no qualms building my midfield around him, just superb.

Thought WBA's performance was very reminiscent of the last few months of Mowbray here. A lot of the ball, a lot of threatening play without many real chances created, conceding stupid goals and wide open for the counter attack. We did exactly what teams used to do to us when he was here.

We’re literally 3 games away from the PL …

… if people aren’t excited, you're right, it’s really not their thing.

Is the same hamstring NOT necessarily the same injury. Could just be a tweak and out for a couple of weeks

had a little look and don't think he's far off all big ifs

but win on tuesday and the others get beat we will be 5 points from 2nd

Sheffield and burnley both have to play each other so both can't pick max point up,

so if results go are way on tuesday and we win are next 3 (all massive ifs we'll be going into the final game with a shot of top 2

Watched the match in the Fighting Cocks thru Durham today. Humes goal was class the fact that it went in but I had to check the TV to see if Meslier had signed for WBA. Surely the goalie should have done better. Glad he didnt mind.
    Anyway, 3 points yeehaw.

    Good lad.

No point in going if you can't enjoy a win and hope for the best. And why not anyway? Only Leeds have looked better than us over two games, and not by much at that. Now they are wobbling like a trifle. If Boro beat them on Tuesday, I think they are in the raffle, and I don't see them making it through that. They are on the verge of choking again and it must be on their minds. They looked home and hosed after the beat Sheff Utd, and now they have two points from two games against teams at the bottom of the league.

    So why not us?
