He didn’t look like that when he left. Managing Saints can age a man overnight. So does supporting them.
I don't know if his maths is good, but I'm pissed off so seems about right to me. Cheers SR. Unbelievable value
Those numbers are right, except my ST was £600, making my returns £60 per home goal £600 per home win £150 per point
I've actually been tracking this on and off on another board this season basing it on how many games too. Currently at £101 per point.
The three other ST holders who I go with all missed the Everton game. So collectively just one win witnessed at the cost of four STs.
Feels like we have been top of that stat for about a decade. Definitely used to get it every year under Hassenhuttl
11 if you include the games we've actually won. Doesn't feel like we've been ahead in over a third of our matches lol.
We could still get level on points with Spurs, by the end of the season. We just need to win our remaining games. Ah, I can see the flaw in this theory...
Spurs are the lowest placed London team. Can't remember the last time that was the case. Based on that, it stands to reason they'll score 4 against us, before tailing off again to the end of the season. Saints, helping Spurs to another false dawn
Even if we somehow contrive to beat Derby’s points tally, there is no escaping the ignominy of being the first club in Premier League history to be relegated after only 31 games. Ipswich, Derby, Huddersfield, and Sheffield United were all relegated after 32 games, but we have set a new low bar.
One we didn't get. By losing 3-0 to Newcastle Leicester became the first side in the top four tiers of English football to lose eight successive home league games without scoring.
26 defeats is the most we've ever had in a league season in any division. 13 home defeats most we've ever had in the top flight.
