well i was another one who did not realise it was an early kick-off so missed most of the 1st half.

from what i did see, we were very lethargic, even more than usual.

ref was terrible, the yellow for mundle was simply a joke as he lost the defender who then leant into mundle, barclay should have been sent off for that lunge, nowhere near the ball, leapt in both feet off the ground and we never even got a free kick...pretty sure the WBA fans will feel he was against them as well but i feel they got the better of the decisions.

going to give my MotM to hume again, scored (albeit helped by the keeper) and defended well again...this is also based on the half i saw.

If Mundle is out I’ve no problem playing Tommy there until Mundle is completely fit again, no need to rush him back.
We should look at Tommy as a loan player from now on.

Said the same this morning. A loan player where we are getting 10m to have him here.

Ref was a complete joker mind. No yellow or free kick for an actual dive by the WBA player, the one where Rigg was fouled but gave WBA a free kick even though he was 2 yards away from play, not even giving a free kick for Bartley missing the ball and going through Isidor TWO FOOTED and then booking Mayenda for a stonewaller. Abysmal.

I'd rather we ease him in gently. Give him half an hour on Tuesday with a view to staring v Swansea or Bristol

Funny when you see a West Brom fan post “ref is awful for both sides, must be as both fans are singing you’re not fit”, but not realising that WBA fans are singing it because he’s not giving them free kicks when they dive!

I'd start Aleksic on the left on Tuesday. Maybe bring Browne in for Jobe with Hjelde at LB
Nothing to lose other than pride, so worth getting some mins in some legs and resting others

Good win. Good game management. All about using the squad now and getting to optimum levels before the play offs. Goes without saying, but we have a real chance this season. Momentum will be the key.

Hard watch at times, but the lads ground it out.

Defence we're all good, I'm liking Browne at full back, very solid and Hume (motm for me) looks equally as good on the other side.
