Not sure about the Colwill selection, but it could have been a worse line-up. Would like to have seen Simic on the bench.
Yeah. Haven't got a full bench so something has happened. But it's a massive plus that Colwill comes in for him. We will still lose though.
Midfield very light on physicality. I have to say that line up doesn't inspire confidence. Great to see Davies, Ashford and Alves starting again with Salech up top. However we have to get the ball to them in positions where they can do some damage. Chambers wouldn't be the man to do that but it would allow Mannsverk to play further forward. Time for Colwill to show he can control midfield and create space for those in front of him. We have waited all season for him. Is today the day?
Agreed Sivic would have been worth it or Troy Perrett for midfield. Both have earned praise in the Under 21's.
We lack physicality anyway as a squad. Chambers missing doesn't change things he's hardly physical or strong in the tackle. The defence isn't physical either its a real soft touch side. Our hardest tackler is probably Bagan but I worry about him in the air.
Riza predictably picks a totally unpredictable team. He appears to be putting his faith in the speedier young players and looking for a repeat of the first half display last time out. Big chance for Colwill to impress. There appears to be good options on the bench. Fortunately El Ghazi is not in the squad.
