Even the "Deep lying centre-forward", aka "The Revie Plan" or a "False # 9 " was invented/synthesized from the tactics of the great 1950's Hungarian national team.
False 9 has been around ages. Inverted fullbacks playing as centre-mids in possession aren’t new. Neither are ‘hybrid’ fullbacks who play as a third centre-back in possession but as a regular fullback in a back four out of possession. Football tactics are constantly evolving and there are trends that come and go. Of course player ability plays a huge part and a game plan and individual moments turn a game on its head but that doesn’t mean tactics are some novelty for Football Manager geeks.
according to Allam he would only sell to a safe pair of hands - yeah right - was this the lot that was put off by those pesky fans throwing tennis balls on the pitch
Hate the guy But we should put a cheeky bid for mcburniecunt in summer Exactly what we need Be cheap too i think
I thought that £6 million deposit claim was disproved years ago as it was never in the accounts. Thought it was something invented by City PR to not make the owners look stupid as they'd announced the preliminary sale of the club prematurely.
blackburn 2 down to boro within 8 mins theyve absolutely shat the bed since eustace left. wow Has a team ever capitulated so fast after a manager leaves?
Carrick would rather play Iling-Junior at left-back than Giles. Says it all. I know he’s still our player but I can’t help feel Schadenfreude at Giles’ misfortune. Can’t think of a more unlikeable City player since Bullard.
His Away Days channel is a decent YouTube watch. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
