I like Bill Joyce in the 1.20 Aintree. Yard in good nick, his opening mark of 136 looks workable and the longer trip could bring out plenty of improvement for this strong travelling type.

Last week on ITV racing Matt Chapman was interviewing Callum Shepherd and Shepherd said he would win the Al Quoz sprint at Meydan next week (tomorrow). Horse is West Acre... as low as 7/2 with PP but 6 with WH. Form reading is interesting as are his speed stats on At the Races.

Ground at Aintree is likely to be very quick. Have had a **** at Grangeclare West. The 2nd to GDC in the Irish Gold Cup make good reading. A grade one winner at around 50/1 is worth. punt e/way.

    16:00 Aintree - Kandoo Kid e/w

Class-1 Premium Handicap Chase over 4m2f on good-to-soft ground.

Hoping very much selection can thwart the powerful entries from across the pond, for a change. Kapgarde gelding will be ridden by Harry Cobden for the Paul Nicholls stable. Same headgear applied as in previous runs.

    Good luck today, folks! :emoticon-0167-beer:
