I appreciate the view it isnt entertaining football. However, I think it is one of the best coaching achievements in a long while. That sort of thing does not happen without extraordinary work on the training ground. I would love to be able to watch one of the defensive shape sessions, must be unreal.
Didn't realise they had Darlow as number 2. Makes the whole persistence with Meslier even more ridiculous.
Very good GK at this level is Darlow. Plenty of experience too, can’t believe he hasn’t played in the league sooner
This is the point I was making with the Patterson debate. If Darlow comes in, barely played, then makes a couple of mistakes then there is massive tension and pressure. Then what does Farke do, bring Meslier back in? Then the pressure is massively back on him. Can go the other way of course and Darlow improves them. He's a good back up to have.
