The delay is definitely to give time for contact negotiations, a 5 year contract with a 3 year extension in our favour. But will all depend on us staying in the championship. Or it could be totally wrong and he’s ****ed for the next 2 years…
Can't remember where I read it but it essentially said that clubs/management could work with CAS in terms of dictating a timeline for public release.
I was told this morning it’s looking like better news than we (the club not us on here) were expecting. At least until the middle of March (when I last spoke to my mate) we still wanted to buy him regardless of the outcome, but the length of the contract and the fee were dependent on the final decision of the CAS.
I'm probably wrong but that doesn't sound right. I can believe there is a set period between telling the player in question and announcing but discussing when an independent body makes the announcement I'm not convinced
CAS are under no time pressure to release the findings/report. They have probably indicated the result of the case to the relevant parties but may have asked to wait on the publication of this before going public. CAS state a maximum of 3 months after hearing the case for the publication of its findings. With this statement being made, it must be that CAS have indicated that the publication is imminent - so the clubs are just getting their ducks in a row.
I just looked up Zambrano’s goal, v Cardiff, it was a deflection in the box. But it was worth watching to remind me what we’re missing with Belloumi out. https://www.google.com/search?q=hul...ate=ive&vld=cid:99c4f86b,vid:bTFKKHwrveQ,st:0
I have a theory (to lazy to check it out) that most shots that end in a goal are deflected especially if you remove penalties
