What we need to do is sign upgrades in positions we are weak in. Hall on loan and Livramento as backup to Trippier would’ve been fine if we’d already strengthened our weak areas which we didn’t. But ultimately we’ve done overall well. The LC win magnificent but with better transfers we should’ve got through the UCL group and been in Europe this season. As I say, please sign players who can job share in weaker positions until ready, not more decent subs.
Pretty good night for us. A win against a decent side - they've scored 14 goals in their last 5 away games. After the celebrations our players have all had, it's a brilliant result to get 3 points.

Still watching that goal back. The more you see it the more it is 100% a strike! Another great three points, genuinely felt like we deserved the win there, put played them for the majority of the game and bar (another) Pope brain fart, they didn’t look like scoring!
Seemed a tight game to me.. Brentford are no mugs so it's a good result.. I didn't get the impression the ref was on our side? I forgot me glasses so if I'm way off that's probably why.
Pope for me. We'd gone flat and Brentford were getting back into the game, his tactical error pushed the team to go and get a winner and turned the game in our favour. He was playing 4d chess.
