    Proper heartbreak that one.

Well played though lads. Left everything out there.

That Suga for Downes sub was wild.

That is actually a very good result, but obviously it feels like a gut punch after leading for so long.

I hope Tall Paul is still here next season.

Taking off both your defensive midfielders when holding on to a lead is ****ing criminal.

Can't knock the effort and application there. Good to see, and so nice to watch a game where we're playing with two 6s and everyone (at least initially) in the positions they're meant to be playing in.

Thought Palace weren't up for it at all today, and were very poor, but a decent display from us to take into the Spurs game. Just a shame that Downes got the 2 game yellow suspension.

Thought Dibling looked really poor when he came on too - that burst up the right by KWP he should have been busting a gut to support, having only just come on, but the only player who ran to be up with him was Fernandes (who must have been knackered). Welington showed way more application when he came on and chased.

Only Sully wasn’t an 8 out of 10, his passing just didn’t match up to everyone else’s. All the other starters were. Not often we have a load of players who could be MOTM. The late goal was a sickener but tonight’s performance should be the standard for the rest of the season. Palace are a good side and they were made to look average.

Yeah he was ****. Just didn’t look bothered at all and tried a few ridiculous passes when all he had to do was win a throw in to kill clock.

All the subs made us worse but obviously needed fresh legs, just don’t have the squad which we all know

For every other premier league side i have watched, the suspense at the end would have been down to whether they would hang on or not. It sums up our season that we were all wondering whether palace would manage to get 2 or whether we'd only concede once and get the draw.

Can't wait for Juric to go. More stupid in game decisions.

I dunno. People were blowing and we needed fresh legs. I mean I can't wait for him to go either, but I don't think he did too many mental things today (though Suga for Downes was maybe one).

I thought our performance was summed up with KWP mazzy run up the right for no-one to bust a gut to get their with him ( apart from Fernandes ) only to have the ball layed off to my all-time favourite Joe "Oh No" Aribo to see him play a backward pass! If I was KWP I would have head-butted him! Typical Saints that, lots of effort tonight but oh so little quality.
And as for 100 million Dibling - Don't make me laugh!

Can only assume the plan was for us to drop deeper in the middle and if we got the ball hit the wings for Suga to chase. Not much point in the DM that late when they weren’t playing it through the middle very often.

Also Downes could’ve been blowing and I don’t know who else we had on the bench? Was Smallbone on there?

    So to summarise:

    No pitch invasion

    No one wins £60

Everyone goes home disappointed. Standard for this season I guess!

    Had a £15 insurance at a draw at evensish. So £35 out £32 in. £3 down :(

We’ve avoided having the longest home streak of losses as well. Record stood at 11 and we only got to a respectable 9
