That's why some of us were crying out for us to get Eustace when we sacked Walter. He's a fantastic manager and wanted out at Blackburn. I'm happy with Selles but Eustace was the one that got away for me.
I'm still not sold on Selles. He's alright but hasn't been on a run of wins yet and proven experience is what we need I our situation, which Eustace has in abundance.
Even after our best run of the season and a better goal difference than most we're still drawn to the bottom 3 like a fly to ****. Can't help feeling it's just meant to be.
To judge from some on Twitter you'd think we were 24th and 6 points adrift. Fan base needs to get a grip.
Even if Derby win, they still have the exact same amount of points as us. They’ve not jumped above us and opened up a massive points gap. There are two teams with only one more point than us in the mix and we could easily leapfrog one or two at the weekend. It’s still true that we’re in good form regardless of what Derby do, but a team that wins four in a row deserves to be out of the bottom three. Our form is good, but obviously theirs is better at the moment. There’s still no reason not to keep looking up the table, especially since the teams just above us have some really tough fixtures this weekend.
Might as well look up I suppose. We're not going to stay up because the bottom 3 keep losing as well like 08/09!
For ****’s sake. This is what pisses me off about City and this group of players so much. They’ve had a golden opportunity to finally pull away from the bottom three and they just can’t do it. Can’t string two wins back-to-back yet Derby are on course to win four on the bounce.
squeaky bum time…I think we are going down, have done for months. No consistency. Positive win, then roll over against a relegation rival, happened so many times. You stay up by beating the teams around you….
I don’t care what anyone says. A pattern of WLDWLD etc. is not ‘good form’ when other teams around us are picking up points. Can’t help but feel we might go down and those players and supporters who think our squad is ‘too good to down’ will still believe it, just like Dyatlov thought it was still only 3.6 röntgen.
While I wasn't bothered about Rosenior going, I did have a fear that it was just an Acun decision on a whim with no real plan going forward, as proven by taking weeks to eventually appoint someone nowhere near qualified for the job.
Can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic. It’s hard to tell with you. If you’re being serious, you’re delusional. Walter was sacked in late November. Sellés was appointed in early December. Coventry were 16th when Lampard took over in late November and they’re 5th now. If our squad as good as our fans make out and it was all Walter’s fault, we should be comfortably mid-table by now.
