Been to quite a few, daft lad. Will be there on Easter Monday and for the Derby County game. Will you be there? Come and have a pint.

A better question would be why are some people not in favour of safe standing?

It has to be better than standing in a seating area, I'm amazed there hasn't been a disaster yet.

There are a lot more people standing in seated areas at other grounds than are at the MKM. Doesn’t seem to cause problems at Acun’s other club. Laughably we are told standing up in West Upper is a threat to life and limb.<laugh>

You mean like they contributed towards the new pitch?

You mean they don’t contribute to things that benefit them? Quelle surprise!

I always liked the idea of putting away fans in Costello stadium with an 18 inch telly in the center of the athletics track for them to watch the game.

Get one made more recently than 40 years ago will solve that problem.

100% yes, it would make the atmosphere better, but it’d need to be big enough, possibly the south stand for a start.

I'm pretty sure that additional barriers were installed at the bottom of that section following that Rashford winner. And the away end has since moved, so there's now just an irrelevant section in that corner with extra barriers even though it's actually empty half the time.

Will the supporters trust be asking when we are going to install safe standing? As usual we are getting left behind.

I would support them doing so. I've not been involved in the running of the trust for several years though.

It’s been more detrimental than beneficial to them this season, they will have played 2 home league games in 10 weeks to start the season, something they did to accommodate the pitch works and recovery.

The marginal improvements in the playing surface really don’t benefit them much at all.
