After years of supporting this club, thousands of pounds and bucket fulls of emotional energy, I've decided to call time.

Despite the highs of Oldham, Wembley and the multiple, nail biting escapes from relegation, I need more success in my team.

I want to follow a team with hopes of silverware and success, domestic and European.

Geography plays a part. I can't be supporting a distant club like Liverpool.

Therfore, I've decided to start supporting Chelsea.

I intend this support to start from right now but it will expire at noon today.

Happy 1st of April to you all.<laugh>

The best wind ups have some element of believability. Which QPR fan has not experienced some despair at some stage?!

Unlike the article l've just seen that suggested our navy was being supplemented with inflatable warships! :cheesy:

Ha, ha, almost had me, but you lost me at Chelsea ,(always wondered why my Dad didn't like them, but was neutral on Fulham & Brentford). A Scottish school chum in Winchester went off the deep end as a 15 yr old, became a skinhead (circa 1967) and would travel up to the Smoke on Chelsea home game weekends for some "bovver", then regale us Monday morning with all his violent gang stories, pushing people in the Underground, smashing storefronts, then beating up rival supporters before and after the match. I recall in this time period he was also banging his girlfriend's mum! His poor Scottish dad worked as a barman in a pub in a neighbouring village (Stockbridge). I recall once him once without a licence driving a beat up light blue Morris Minor trying to escape the fuzz who were chasing us through his Estate. Caught us on dead end road, cop let him off with a warning! Now for myself at 15 I went up to London for the R's matches alone on the train with specific travel instructions from Dad and a hip flask of whiskey that he supplied me with for cold days. Now once I did check out a basement strip club in Soho joining a bunch of dirty old men getting their afternoon jollies!
