I suspect Yuki would be a good asset for us in the Championship. But if we really did get a £10m offer for him, I'd be selling him immediately. That's more than he's worth, and it shouldn't be difficult to replace him.

BBC sports article regarding Dibbling being. It is quite a good review with some interesting comments about his skill set. Interesting to see that an online assessment of his ability regarding his performance is gauging his value at £26 Mill whilst we appear to be holding out fir £50 mill.

I feel he will end up at simehere like West Ham. My brother in law is a Man Utd fan and is underwhelmed. Nothing in the press about a £100 mill bid but plenty about United having no money to spend

I may have missed it, but there doesn’t seem to be any mention of which fans are going to leave or transfer to a better team. As all the other teams in the PL are better than Saints, I’m wondering which one I might move over to. As I was born in Blyth, I might be a closet Magpie.…….Couldnt find a Magpie, so it will have to be a zebra.

Kind of my thinking though. Those kind of prices make £100m for Dibling sound more absurd.

 

Maybe we are dead serious about not selling him. That's the only reason I can think for setting such a high asking price.

 

Not sure. I think it’s more a reflection of how daft the English tax is. Moreover I think Bournemouth are massively undervaluing Kerkez. They should be asking for £70m at least.

 

Yeah that does surprise me, especially with the level of interest in him.

My dad played for a team in East Cowes but I don't think it was the Vics. Old black and white photo. All in baggy shirts, baggier shorts and rugby boots. No Woodbines though.

 

The other East Cowes team that I can remember was East Cowes Athletic. There was also a 'works' team that played on Saunders Roe' ground.

Edit: Although he was at JS Whites at the age he is in the photo.

 

That’s very generous. Need mins in there really. Such a shame for him but bang awful business for Saints. And I don’t just mean the price tag & wages. Not having a proper 9 has really hurt us.
