Yeah I did think that when I was typing it. I know from doing mountain bike trips that a stop for anything more than about 15-20 mins means all of that lactic acid build up begins to make your muscles seize up. I'm not brainy enough to do the maths off the top of my head, but I guess that gives you 3x as many stops as 3 one hour stops ?
Not so much fitness and mindset, it's the old joints seizing ups the worry. How far is that Peej, I take it it's on your road bike
the tip on short breaks is good, being able to eat on the move is something you never think of. But taking plenty between breaks is very important and also what you can eat without giving you stomach issues. the C2C is 150 miles, have 100 miles in the legs without training, but it’s the lakes and roads near the end that will be the killer.
Found a new gym which is excellent.. Litterally nobody ever there when I go.... Old school type place. Much better gear too.. None of the techno gym ****.
