I've played golf once with him and his dad and he can't stop talking ****... Just makes stuff up for attention and even his father (or stepfather?) was raising his eyebrows. Like a little kid who's stories just keep spiralling and exaggerating every time he tells them. He may well have been earning £55k a week at City, but it wasn't because of a feckin spelling mistake...
A hospital pass from Ashbee, and being a dick. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I'd say he's got some sort of condition like ADHD or something. He started off being reasonably amusing and by the 18th hole (and a couple of hours!), we were ****ing sick of him. It was like having a jester alongside who never shut up. We were supposed to have a dinner afterwards with him (and the rest of the players on the charity day), but my brother-in-law traded our seats to get away from him, because he'd already ruined the afternoon and couldn't handle an evening as well. Incredibly talented golfer to be fair to him, but an annoying tit.
You may be right, if you have ever been with anyone full of coke that's just how they are. Loud, hyperactive, attention seeking gobby twats.
Not sure about that. Think it's just his personality. His father/guardian apologised for him and said he's always like that. He kept on throwing his hat or glove over the tee/ball every time one of us swung and laughing hysterically... It was funny the first time, but two/three hours in, when we just wanted to finish the round and get a drink, everyone wanted to knock him out, ha ha. My brother in law's company owner got partnered with Darren Anderton, who had to retire from the game after hole six due to getting a shoulder injury, ha.
you cant blame him for signing the contract he was offered. you cant blame him for getting injured but you would like to think he would show a bit of humilty/ embarrasment/ awareness of how it all unfolded and just show a bit more class. enjoy your money, but dont be a bellend about it.
You can blame him for his work ethic and for abusing his body when he's getting paid to be a professional footballer. Can't remember who the interview was with but watched one where one of the team mates said to him "can you try and get fit maybe do some extra sessions" and Bullard just laughed and told hom to **** off
That's often said about him, although he made 471 appearances at club level, and 30 international ones. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
It was actually his nickname, at least at Spurs, but it's funny as you say as he had a long career and obviously a lot of appearances. I'm impressed you knew those stats of the top of your head
Didn't know the exact stats, but I knew for certain he'd played far more than his nickname suggested. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Coke is the knobhead’s drug of choice. Cokeheads are just completely insufferable to be around. I would honestly rather spend a full week with someone on heroin or another strong opioid than spend an hour in a cokehead’s presence.
